Waste Paper
All printed and unprinted waste paper
produced during printing is recycled to
produce new newsprint.
Waste Cardboard
All cardboard from reel wrappers and
consumable packaging is recycled to produce
new packaging materials.
Chemicals
All chemicals used in platemaking and in the
press hall, and waste inks are disposed of by
a specialist print waste company in
accordance with the current regulations. All
empty ink and chemical containers are sent
out to be cleaned and then recycled into new
plastics.
Printing plates
Used aluminium printing plates are sold to
scrap metal dealers and subsequently
recycled.
Page origination
specifications:
Ads should be produced with design packages
such as Corel Draw, Quark Express or InDesign
either on PC or Apple Mac.
